Elton is a salt lake near the border with Kazakhstan. The largest mineral lake in Europe by area and one of the most mineralized in the world. The golden-pink pond is bordered by snow-white crystals, and around there are stunning chamomile steppes.
Elton attracts tourists who want to improve their health. There is a sanatorium consisting of cottages in the nearby village of the same name. You can also relax and be treated by "savages", staying in a hotel or with local residents.
