Many people think that a gap year is just a year off from studying. But in fact, during this year you can do a lot of amazing things that you have not done before.
Personally, if I had an opportunity, I would rather spend this year in a useful way, without wasting it on useless things. Firstly, I would travel to different cities, and even countries. I would like to visit Philippines and Finland, so this trip abroad would be included in my plans.
Secondly, I would like to develop myself in many aspects, try something new, improve the skills that I have now. To be specific, I would like to improve my dancing skills, learn how to skate well, improve my singing, find my recognition, set goals and follow them.
Moreover, if I took a gap year, I would be able to improve myself in those subjects that are needed to get in the university. I think it is a good opportunity to become better.
The fourth thing that is worth mentioning is the restoration of physical and moral strength. I would be able to sleep well, I could take a break from the constant study that lasted every day.
But there are always downsides to everything. My parents could misunderstand me, so there would be different disagreements and conflicts. And yet perhaps, I would lose motivation to study, because a whole year is a lot of time.
Eventually, I think that gap year has a lot more pros than cons. And for me it would be a good chance to improve myself.
