This article will be very useful for CRODO Ambassadors, you will learn how to get points for technical assistance to the CRODO team, where to report bugs and see examples of which bugs I got points for finding. Happy reading everyone!
1. What do you earn points for?
Let’s suppose you were browsing the CRODO website and saw that a word was misspelled somewhere, then somewhere else, and somewhere else you noticed that some element of the site was incorrectly configured, or there were typos in social networks or WhitePaper. Reporting such errors will be technical assistance on your part. So, you found errors, but where to report them, because the site does not have a section for such a case. You are right, such things should be reported in the official Discord channel, I did it in the "questions-amba" channel, marking the admins who are online. After the admins see your message and make sure that the error found is really present, they will thank you and, most likely, give you points, if your help was tangible, do not hesitate to ask the admins for points, they could simply forget to add them, especially what a question no one will ban you. In the picture below you can see how the crediting of points in your personal account will look like.
2. Examples of errors I found.
I earned a total of 600 points for the errors I found, twice 300 points each. The first time I found that html link objects went beyond the buttons, that is, clicking next to the button, and in some places even somewhere in the middle of the page, clicked on the button whose link went beyond it. This annoyed me, so I informed the admins.
The second time I found a missing paragraph in the text and one very noticeable error, which you can see below. In the screenshot, we can see that the background of the site stretched beyond my screen, as it turned out later, this happened when a very long link was added to the task. Now this bug has been fixed, like all the ones I reported about.
CONCLUSION
Now you know that points can be earned not only for content. If you have a keen eye or you understand the technical part of the site, then you should at least once go through all the pages of Crodo, maybe you will find something. I hope this article was helpful to you, thanks for reading!
