1. The staking process and what you get for it.
When you go to the “stake” section of the crodo.io website, you can see two lines where you have to enter the amount of CROD you want to stake and the number of days your tokens will be locked up. By entering the desired values, you will see how much Gravity you will receive for staking. For example, in the screenshot, I entered that I want to stake 1000 CROD for 730 days, as you can see, for this I will receive 1592 Gravity, which corresponds to the second “Red Giant” tier, which I will talk about later.
Below you can see the formula used to calculate the amount of Gravity received for staking.
2. Tiers of stakers.
As mentioned above, for staking you will receive a certain tier, each of which provides its own benefits. Below you can see all the tiers, and what is the minimum amount of Gravity required to get them. You can also earn Gravity for staking your referrals.
Advantages and requirements of shooting galleries:
- "Star" - given for 100 Gravity. You receive one lottery ticket to participate in IDO.
- "Red Giant" - given for 1000 Gravity. You get 12 lottery tickets to participate in IDO.
- "Supernova" - given for 5000 Gravity. You get 100 lottery tickets to participate in IDO.
- "Neutron Star" - given for 10000 Gravity. You get 300 lottery tickets to participate in IDO.
- "Pulsar" - given for 50000 Gravity. You get a guaranteed allocation to IDO.
- "Black Hole" - given for 50,000 Gravity and blocking your tokens for at least 12 months. You get a guaranteed allocation.
Also, the higher your tier, the larger your allocation.
3. Rewards for staking.
In addition to tiers, you will receive daily staking rewards, which will be calculated using the formula below, where
- x= your daily reward
- y= number of your staked CROD tokens
- z= total number of CROD tokens staked
- e= total number of CROD tokens allocated for rewards
- i = total staking days
Each subsequent day is calculated based on the amount received on the previous day.
4. Staker titles.
But that's not all, for staking you will also receive a title.
Titles are accrued depending on the time during which you store your tokens on the site, and are reset when you withdraw them.
- Crewmen is the base title.
- Ensign - issued after 1 month of staking. You gain +15% Gravity.
- Commander - issued after 3 months of staking. You gain +20% Gravity.
- Captain - issued after 6 months of staking. You gain +25% Gravity.
- Admiral - issued after 12 months of staking. You gain +30% Gravity. You also get the Black Hole tier if your tier is Pulsar.
