Dyirbal language

Dyirbal is an Australian indigenous language that is spoken in Northeast Queensland by about 5 speakers of the Dyirbal people. It is a member of the small Dyirbalic branch of the Pama–Nyungan family. It possesses many outstanding features that have made it well known among linguists. Dyirbal is on the verge of endangerment since three out of its six dialects are already extinct. The rest of the dialects are also undergoing different stages of change or even dying out. Dyirbal language is Critically endangered since the youngest speakers are grandparents and older, and they speak the language partially and infrequently and no one learn it anymore. Every year there is a decrease in the number of people who speak Dyirbal and the chance of reviving this language is really small, but it's not too late to try to do it. Some phrases in Dyirbal: balam buriru banggun yulminyu = She eats the potato. bayi rrubinyu = he eats meat. ngadya balan bima mugu balgan = I killed the death adder by hittin

Some phrases in Dyirbal:

balam buriru banggun yulminyu = She eats the potato.

bayi rrubinyuhe eats meat.

ngadya balan bima mugu balgan = I killed the death adder by hitting it with a long rigid implement, but not before it had already managed to bite someone.

I don't know why I chose this language because I chose a random one from the list of endangered languages and i would not like to learn this language.
