There is an unique island in the Northern Sporades group among the forests and quiet bays of Greece that calls Skopelos.
He has long preserved his pristine nature. Despite the lack of fashionable clubs and restaurants, it attracts with a wealth of impressive buildings and many precious relics
Skopelos is known with the church life of monks, as well as unique gifts of nature that are famous all over the world.
The island has lots of breathtaking beaches but the most popular sightseeing is Sotiros Monastery which is about 7 km from the main city of the island, is located on a hill with an impressive view. This is one of the quietest places on the island, the surrounding silence is disturbed only by the murmur of springs and the voices of birds.
How to get there? The best way is by boat because it is not far away from the capital of the country. I think this boat trip might cost about 30€. As we could catch there are really stunning streets , so you won’t spend lots of money with sightseeings , just with food .
Food.. This island is full of street food . Greece food has been known from the 13 century as really testy and you exactly will find your best one.
Accommodation . That’s probably a big problem. There aren’t many hotels but there are lots of hostels ( the quality isn’t good). MY RECOMMENDATION TO GO THERE FOR ONE DAY. I hope I managed to tell you about this astonishing island in Greece
