1)Firstly, you must concentrate on a content that is relevant to you, for example, if you are a historian like me you can study history of ancient civilizations , reading historical books in the language that you are currently learning , you can be an engeener and read books connected with this theme.
2)Use a language as a tool for communication from the day one , because this way you will learn to speak fluently , besides, grammar and vocabulary will be memorised much better by speaking .
3)When you first understand the message you will unconsciously acquire the language , that is why you should listen a lot to this language , it doesnot matter that you donot understand it , your brain will get used to it , to its sound and structure/
4)Psychological training , it means that you should have positive mindset, be tolerant to making mistakes because there are some perfectionists who want to speak without any mistake but we are humans and we all make mistakes so it is okay , it is nothing to ashamed of , we cannot know everything . So have a clear mind and act.
5)You should learn language after some physical activities ,for example , I learn german after working out because I feel like I am over the moon , besides, it is proved by scientists that physical activities boost your mental activities/
6)First , you should focus on getting the overall meaning of a content in the film , book or whatever than on the meaning of unknown words . Because I know some people who just want to understand everything and they translate every single word to do it , it will take a lot of time and you will not get pleasure from it.
7)Start mixing , if you already have some vocabulary you can mix words , construct the sentences , this way you will learn how to apply words that you already know to a real life and in a real communication.
8) I you have an opportunity you can find a tutor who will speak with you, develop your level of language , who will give you some tasks.
