Helloy,guys ! In my blog I would like to make a post about phrasal verbs. They are rather crucial . They are widely used in daily speech and make you more eloquent and fluent. So in this post we will analyze phrasal verbs with the verb pull. Besides, I will make some examples in order to make your memorising much easier.
1) to pull ahead-to overtake (опередить)
Example :It was quite a hard race but we were able to overtake our rivals
2)to pull apart-to destroy (an agreement, a contract) (разорвать)
Example: You promised me that you will prolong his contract but you pulled apart our agreement. I think that I cannot trust you anymore.
3)to pull out-to take out, to remove(вынимать)
Example: As a result , I had to pull out a trigger and shoot him . I didnot want to but I had to.
4)to pull away-to come off , to escape (оторваться, вырваться)
Example: I wanted to look into her eyes and invite her on a date but she pulled away from me , to be honest it was sad and unpleasant.
5)to pull back-move away,retreat, recede. (отступить)
Example:I think we should pull back because otherwise it will end I would say not very beneficial.
