In Norway, "lofts" - sheds for storing fishing tools, drying fish, workshops․ And today, the most beloved dwelling of the subjects of the kingdom: they spend their holidays, weekends in such, the newlyweds prefer to spend their first three nights in them․
The loft should be an hour or three from permanent housing, so that you can easily rush to the wild on Friday evening! There are no amenities, often no electricity or running water. But on the other hand, pure nature and pristine attitude.
We met the first loft on the way up to the Troll Tongue.
At an altitude of 1000 meters, where there are no roads, people on themselves, helicopters and a broken funicular delivered building materials and live in complete isolation from civilization.
Lights were on in their windows at night. And my legs, shaking with fatigue, carried me past, from Tongue, into an almost vertical abyss with a fragile staircase. My car was there.
And people with candles in the windows peacefully enjoyed the silence and unpretentious comfort in their lofts...
