Odoo is a great software. Also, Odoo is a great service. But in order to give you the best experience, we need a small action from your side: you have to click the Upgrade button. Why it's so important? If technical answer is boring for you, I can explain it in terms of the Matrix world.
Imagine if different countries and different cultures are just different Matrix Software. The software was pretty bad quite recently and we had a way too many wars. Then the Germany was forced to make an upgrade to another Software and now she is the most peaceful and richest company in the Europe. They just made an upgrade in time!
In the same way as we fix bugs in Odoo and do weekly updates for all the apps we have, the Matrix software is updated via Media on daily basis. But some changes are so big, that some countries prefer to stay on a legacy system. For example, hackers of the Western Culture released an important patch that introduces LGBT rights into the Software.
This patch is so hard to apply, that some Matrix Software Administrators prefer to stay on a legacy system, make a dirty patches (like censorship, repression, etc.), constantly face errors and even watch the economy fail.
