My response to Writing Prompt #5
Revising is a practical solution to sailing through an exam when the test is due. After you have made such a revision, your short memory won’t last longer than in the region of a week. The method isn’t so much difficult as exhausting. You’re bound to memorise a bounty of accumulated knowledge . Rote-learning, however, being not expected to be sufficient for most subjects, mnemonics can help. Bury yourself in your book until you know the subject inside out.
