Admit it: When it comes to celebrity couples, sometimes it feels like everyone in Hollywood has already hooked up with each other.
Sure, there are the power couples. Just think about Ryan and Blake or Will and Jada. But that's now. Rewind a decade or more and you'll see that once upon a time, those celebs used to call someone else bae.
Better yet, Google it. There's nothing like the power of the internet to provide receipts for every single weird relationship your favorite celebrity had. So how about we take a trip down memory lane?
We've gathered photos of celebrities who hooked up once upon a time. For some, it was a quick fling. For others, it was the real deal. Or, at least it felt like the real deal at the time.

Ah, 2003. What a magical time. Joe Millionaire was a real show on TV. Freaky Friday came out that year too. Meanwhile, Britney Spears was hooking up with bad boy Colin Farrell. They showed up on the red carpet and made out everywhere. Bless them. Bless that time.

2. Tupac & Madonna

This seems crazy, right? Like could it really be real? Believe it. Madonna says she dated Tupac briefly in the early ‘90s — just before his death. That claim was echoed in an unauthorized Madonna biography too. If you’re still doubting it, just know that even Tupac’s brother said the hookup really happened.
3. Mariah Carey & Derek Jeter

This really happened in 1997-1998. They look so damn good together. She even went to spring training. But the public eye is cruel — and it's hard to be a couple that consists of one of the world's best singers and one of the world's best athletes. It wasn't meant to be. Ah, c'est la vie.
4. Brad Pitt & Christina Applegate

This. Is. The. BEST. Christina Applegate dated Brad Pitt. She even went with him to the 1989 MTV Movie Awards, but ditched him — for some other guy!
5. Mila Kunis & Macaulay Culkin

Maybe Mila and Ashton were always meant to be, but she used to only have eyes for Macaulay Culkin. The couple dated from 2002-2011!
6. Gwyneth Paltrow & Ben Affleck

Everyone knows that once upon a time Gwyneth Paltrow was with Brad Pitt. But do remember that she hooked up with Ben Affleck too? He was her on-again, off-again boo from 1997-2000. Paltrow told Howard Stern in 2015, "He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend.”
7. Justin Timberlake & Fergie

When you think of Justin Timberlake’s old flames, Britney Spears or Cameron Diaz come to mind. But what about Fergie? That’s right — these two hooked up. “Justin and I would go out together and have fun and make out,” Fergie told Cosmo about her old BF. “We went to Hawaii together, but we were never serious. He was Mr. Right Now.”

If you ever doubt the insanity of this world, remember: We live in a reality where Ray J and Whitney Houston hooked up. Despite their 17-year age difference, they started going out in 2007 — and were on and off again and again for years after, until her death.

Before King Kylie started hooking up with Tyga; before Cody Simpson was two-exes removed from Gigi Hadid, there was this. The pair dated in 2011 — before Kylie lip kit fever took hold of the nation. Simpler times, yes?
10. Halle Berry & Danny Wood
