Petushkov Roman Alexandrovich was born in Moscow in a simple family. When he was little he was very fond of sports, but most of all he adored alpine skiing. After he graduated from high school he entered the sports academy. Studying was easy for him. But one day he got into an audo-death. And his life changed. The doctors had to remove both legs. After that, Roman did not want to talk to anyone. His mother was very worried about him. By chance, she found out that in the city of Dmitrov there is a sports school for the disabled. It was very difficult for her to persuade him to move to amother city, but still he decided. There he was met by a very good coach. Thanks to his tenasity, he became a great world champion in alpine skiing. Dmitrov is very proud of his champion.
