The person who inspired me

In my life there are very few moments when I came across the fact that someone inspired me to take any action. But there is one moment that came to my mind first after this question, and even now I think about it.

It all started with a simple game where you need to click on the circles to the beat of the music called osu! . I won't describe the essence, so google it if you're intrested. All you need to know is that I dive a lot into this game and I started trying to get through the top of all players and set my goal to reach at least 100th place in the top. But after 500 hours of playing, I was near of the 50,000 in the ranking and couldn't even think about reaching 10,000. I was upset and around the same time I found out about the player with the nickname - Cookiezi. One of his fans wrote his story as an osu! Player on the game forum. In short, Cookiezi is recognized as the besе player from 2011 to our time, and despite the fact that he stopped trying hard to get rating points, he remained in first place in the ranking until the end of 2018. I started watching old videos of him playing and all I saw there was that he was constantly much stronger than the rest of the players, and even when he stopped trying to get rating points, because of his level of play, they accumulated from him. For all these years, no one has come even close to the level of Cookiezi.

And then I thought if this guy has been in the first place in the game for 10 years, then it will be just for me to reach the top 100 players. So after that, with a positive mindset, in 2 months I was able to rise from 50,000 to 9,200 places and continue to rise in the ranking to this day with great speed.

By the way, at the time of this writing, I'm in 8924 place.

Due to the limitation, I could write the story in a much more detailed and harmonious way, but I think that the meaning is more or less I told. If you find something unclear or you are just interested in something related to osu! (or Cookiezi) just ask me in the lesson or google it!

Thx for reading! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
