Stella Nina McCartney
She was born in 13 September 1971 in UK.
Stella became interested in fashion design at the age of 13, when she created her first jacket. She received her basic education at the Ravensbourne College of Design and studied fashion design at the St. Martin College of Art and Design. She collaborates with PETA and protests designers who uses the fur.
In 2001 Stella created a cloths line with Gucci
After that she made a wedding dress for Madonna.
The young designer is a fan of a healthy lifestyle, where she spends a lot of time doing sports. The new Adidas collection by Stella McCartney includes clothes for fitness, swimming, tennis, jogging and yoga. The released line was a huge success.
After that she decided she needs a cheaper collection for people who haven’t got a huge amount of money. Stella made a collaboration with H&M and all this clothes was immediately bought in all Europe.
In 2009 and 2011, made children's collections with the popular American brand Gap. The presented clothes were sold not only in the USA, but also in other countries - Canada, Japan, Great Britain, France and Ireland. Successful cooperation also developed with Disney in 2010, where Stella released a themed jewelry for “Alice in Wonderland”.
“Every year 50 million animals are killed for the fashion industry. I don't think fashion is worth the sacrifice. To be fashionable means to be modern, to be modern means to change the usual way of things.” - she said. Stella tries to make clothes without hard decoration.
In 2013, personally from the hands of Queen Elizabeth II, Stella McCartney received the highest award for her achievements - the Order of the British Empire.
