Less than four months have passed since the end of the previous tournament Disciples II as DIIWANE CREW announced a new one.
The organizers DIIWANE CREW are team of the PvP streaming channel which is popularly nicknamed "divan (couch)". DIIWANE CREW is a young and ambitious project aimed at covering and popularizing games of the Player versus Player Disciples II format on the YouTube platform and in the future on other streaming platforms.
Start of the tournament was timed to release of slasherMNS – a new PvP offshoot of the Norvezskayasemga mod. A fierce struggle began for the right to participate in the qualifiers. Both oldies (champions and participants of previous competitions) and freshmen are lined up in the queue. Totally 24 places were allocated for the qualifiers. One last participant, nickname leonik, who initially did not want to participate in the games, passed through the audience vote.
Also among the famous players who submitted applications we can note: Timur findme and Wh1terrr – managers and participants of previous tournaments, Ivan Risemyself-a theoretical streamer who decided to test himself in practice for the first time, Eugene Scorpion – the author of current PvP guides and the champion of the Second Tournament. Among the veterans decided to compete for the play-off: notorious 557, fut, DonPiton, Uchenik.
Qualifying games are held according to the so-called Swiss system. In total participants will have to go through 3 stages. In the first one, which will last until 2nd of October participants will have to play on each map twice: first for one race, and then for another. The organizers are confident that system of mirror matches will allow you to get most objective assessment of the skills of players without strict reference to the features of maps. In the second stage, which will be held until 2nd of November random couples will play one match game each. The final stage will be played out similarly to the second one with an additional shuffle during the month. Winning matches brings participants points, the total number of which will allow those who showed the best result pass to play-off.
Many map designers were involved in the work on the battle arenas. Now the organizers are actively attracting new map makers who are ready to help in creating PvP maps for the tournament.
The size of the prize pool is already known. It is at least $ 1000. More than a solid reward for winning the competition and serious motivation for the players!
The first qualifying game has already taken place between the super-guest of the DIIWANE CREW channel, the streamer RKane and BearCuB on the Honest map. The confrontation ended with draw. Both players showed a decent level. The next match will take place on 21.08.21 and a mirror game on 22.08.21 between fut and Sharg on the Uchenik map.
