As-Safi reading. The world reads the Octalogy

[ENG Sub] Poetry. As-Safi reading / #читаемассафи (playlist)

Ordinary people around the world read small passages of As-Safi Octalogy.

In September 2020, As-Safi Octalogy of the Russian poet and journalist Shukur Tebuev crossed the 200 thousand lines of poetry, bypassing the colossus of world literature in the person of the Iliad-Odyssey, Ramayana, Shah-name and Mahabharata. De facto being the largest poetic work of the planet, written by one person, octalogy tells about the History of the World from the moment of its creation in the context of the struggle between spirit and ego. Gazelles, rubai, sonnets, haydars, shamils, masnawi, mukhammasa, takhmis - this is an incomplete list of the poetic "weapons" of the Caucasian phenomenon on the way to a fantastic confrontation - belt wrestling - with the Kyrgyz epic Manas in volume from 396 thousand to half a million and more lines in different versions. The published books of the octalogy are stored in the Russian State Library and will soon appear in the remote access of the US Library of Congress, which has approved placement on its resources.

In the future, it is planned to

  • complete work on the biographies of the saints-awliya;
  • the names of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad and 313 Badriyuns;
  • a description of the Day of Judgment, Hell and Paradise;
  • 7 volumes of Shamils with reflections in the space of metaphysics;
  • all episodes of World War II;
  • a short history of the world in an ordinary context over the past 5 thousand years;
  • masnawi.

The estimated volume of Octalogy, if completed, will thus reach about 620 thousand lines and will far exceed the Kyrgyz epic Manas, insha Allah.

So what is this work about?..

  • About the eternal battle of the Spirit and Ego?
  • About the history of the world from the moment of its creation to the expected end?
  • Or — about God and His knowledge of the human heart?

About many things. And not only about that.

  • Odin and his ancestors from Homer’s Troy,
  • Jordan and ancient Turkic runes,
  • the shirt of the Prophet and chain mail Ali,
  • Caesar and the Trojan horse,
  • episodes of biographies of the Prophets and saints,
  • ancient Turkic kagans and eastern rulers,
  • gazelles and rubyes,
  • hundred-pyramids,
  • shamils with takhmis and mukhammasa,
  • reflections on life,
  • Gharib and his beloved Princess-Samurai.

All we do not remember.

The structure of the work is quite complex, which could not be otherwise, given the colossal information volumes. Therefore, for the convenience of the reader, various forms of presentation of the material were created. Among them is a detailed content of all 8 Parts and 40 Books of Octalogy.
