News Dunia - Malaysia recorded a record daily death toll from Covid-19 on Saturday (17/7), with 138 deaths. This figure brings the accumulated death cases to 6,866 since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country.
Director General of Health Malaysia Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in his statement said that of the total deaths, 128 were local citizens and 10 were foreign nationals.
Of these, 46 deaths were reported in Selangor; Negeri Sembilan (20); 16 each in Kuala Lumpur and Johor; Pahang (12); Melaka (11); Kedah (seven); Perak (four); Penang (three). ); Terengganu (two) and one in Sabah," he said, as quoted by Bernama. Read more
