Tax on windows
In Great Britain in the 18th century, the government invented a tax on windows. It was canceled in 1851. Now in the UK there are old houses with closed windows using bricks.
Grill tax
Grill tax appeared in Belgium in 2007 to fight with global warming. People pay € 20 for barbecuing. The government checks the implementation of the law using helicopters with cameras.
Swimming pool tax
In Greece people think, house with swimming pool is rich. Greeks, who have swimming pool, pay € 800 for year.
Plaster tax
The Alps are one of the best places for skiing or snowboarding. But every year about 150 thousand people are injured there. And hotels charge plaster tax.
Chips tax
In September 2011, the Hungarian government introduced a tax on chips, savory biscuits, sweet biscuits, packaged cakes, and energy drinks. They fight for health lifestyle.
