Color photo of the Second World War: Krasnaya Hotel in occupied Kharkov. Before the Russian revolution, this hotel was called Metropol. It was one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, but during the Nazi occupation it suffered very badly and was not subject to restoration. In place of the Hotel Krasnaya after the war, a new building was built, the architecture usual for that time.
