A woman asked a man she met on Tinder if she could invite a female friend to their date after discovering that he was married. Check out their conversation below:
Finding love online has become common these days. However, one needs to be sure that you are not being duped - because people aren't always what they say they are. This is exactly what happened with a woman from Atlanta in the US. Nadiyah matched with a man named Eric on Tinder. Their conversation soon took an unexpected turn when she discovered that he was already married.
Nadiyah shared screenshots of their chat on TikTok. The initial conversation appears to be promising as Eric says that he wants "a serious one lady kind of man thing going." When Nadiyah asks if he's dating someone, he replies in negative.
The woman decided to check his claims on Facebook to ensure that she wasn't being lied to and it turns out that not only Eric was married but also had six children.
She shared a screenshot of his wife's profile where she confirmed that they had been together for 2.5 years and were married for seven months.
They had a date planned for Saturday, so she decided to ask Eric if it was fine to bring a female friend to the date. Eric agreed.
She sent him a photo of him and his wife, joking that she would be the "special guest of honour" at their date.
Eric, who was presumable shocked, just replied, "You smooth".
"I woke up and chose [to be] petty," the video is captioned.
The clip has gone viral on social media, with netizens having all sorts of reactions. One user said, "The fact that he met his wife online as well....what." Another wrote, "This is why I stopped online dating, it's exhausting. Your reply was incredible though....he really had no response."
