Hotchkiss H35 (Char léger d’accompagnement 1935 H – light support tank 1935 H) – French infantry tank of the 1930s, light in weight. Created by the firm Hotchkiss , the first prototype was demonstrated on January 18, 1935, and the first serial H35 was released on September 12, 1936.
S35 (Char 1935 S , also S-35 and Somua S35 ) is a French medium tank of the 1930s. It was developed by Somua in 1934-1935 as the main tank of armored cavalry units, which is why in the literature it is sometimes classified as a cavalry or cruising tank.
