Nazi Wehrmacht failed to suppress the Russian artillery nor from artillery fire or by a Luftwaffe. July 1, 1942 the 35th Artillery Battery in the Battle for Sevastopol has released 6 direct-fire projectiles at the advancing infantry of the German army, and on the night of July 2, 1942 Battery Commander Captain Leshchenko organized the explosion of the 35th artillery battery.
