On 11th february of 2021 the JSC Russian Railways notified about new Railway route between Moscow and Pereslavl-Zallessky. This city includes in route of Russian Golden Ring.

The train №928/927 will starts at 7.45 am from Yaroslavsky Railway terminal, travel time is 2 hours 55 minutes.
Reverse train will starts at 6.30 pm from Pereslavl-Zallesky, travel time is 3 hours 18 minutes.
The railroad between Moscow and Yaroslavl was build in the end of 18th by Savva Mamontov who was the founder of Moscow - Sergiev-Posad railway. This railroad was build so far from Pereslavl that unfortunately this step of history was brake evolution for city until to 50th of 20th century.
In the middle of 20th century the Stalin ordered to built railroad between Berendeevo railroad station and Pereslavl. The final of construction was moved every year by year. In finally railroad line which length is 21 kilometers was build for 21 years.

In spite of ending of construction passenger service still not was on this route. This rail line was use for freight trains.
Only in the of 2020 year the RZD-Tour LLC organized retro railway tour between Moscow and Pereslavl-Zalessky.
Demand of this tour was too big and JSC RZD was decided to organize touristic route on New Year holidays.
I hope that in nearest time the Yaroslavskaya oblast government will organize suburban trains between Pereslavl-Zalessky and Alexandrov. Because this route will open many opportunities for Pereslavl-Zalessky citizens to work and earn money on tourists.
