TB-3RN is a modification of the high-altitude bomber TB-3. In this modification, the engines were installed AM 34RN, four-blade propellers, one two-meter main chassis and ShKAS 7.62-mm machine guns in turrets. Practical ceiling of the aircraft has been increased to 7740 m.
