5. Null and Void
A contract or clause that's invalid
Example 1: The change in the clause makes the previous agreement null and void.

6. Counteroffer
An offer you make in response to an offer made by another party.
Example 1: To purchase the domain name the brand made a counteroffer of $700 million.
Example 2: When they realised she was about to quit, they made a counteroffer which she politely rejected.
7. Consensus
An idea or opinion that's been agreed on by everyone
Example 1: The consensus was that the company needs to invest more in digital marketing.
Example 2: We have been talking for two hours. Could we reach a consensus on this matter?
8. Touch base
A short conversation with someone on a topic
Example 1: Sheila needs to touch base with the boss to complain about Mark's behavior.
Example 2: I just wanted to quickly touch base with you - did you get an email for the invitation to the business party?
9. Drill down
To look for a more detailed information on a website: examine a plan
Example 1: After a lot of consideration we drilled down to Mumbai as the destination for our business.
Example 2: You don't need to drill down on the website to find the payment link - it's on the homepage.
10. Helicopter view
A quick overview of a report or idea or presentation document, etc.
Example 1: The boss called me to have the helicopter view of the presentation I had made for the board meeting.
Example 2: Her role as a manager is to take a helicopter view of how the business is managed.
