Hi Everyone! I've got a dream to speak English fluently. I've been learning English for more than two or three years but it's been intermittent [ˌɪn.təˈmɪt.ənt]. There are a lot of reasons why it's rather difficult to learn any foreign language. One of them is it takes persistent and constant work, and that's the real problem for anyone who wants to enhance his abilities in any language. So, I've been looking for some efficient and interesting methods and I've tried lots of very suspicious ones.
I've been told from many sources that it's got be a multi-pronged approach but I'd stubbornly [ˈstʌb.ən.li] kept it ignored until I managed to grasp this seemingly simple idea. And I started to watch and translate Ted Talks that must be the most important exercise because it trains not only listening but also allows increasing vocabulary. As you can see I've decided to diversify [daɪˈvɜː.sɪ.faɪ] my learning by writing. I think I'll talk about Ted Talks next time.
My level is about B1 or Pre-intermediate and I'm not sure whether my writing is correct or not (I haven't started to learn punctuation yet). I've finished 49 units in Raymond Murphy's grammar book though I've forgotten most of them.
I have to make excuses for these arbitrary [ˈɑː.bɪ.trər.i] thoughts and I hope it was interesting and helpful.
