Each blogger, each user contributes his content, his understanding and his truth. If editorials, censorship filtered information for compliance with the accepted or dominant picture of the world, now there is practically no such filter at the output of information.
The situation is aggravated by the possibilities of robotization and algorithmization of communication processes and practices. It starts with the elementary - with the work of search engines, when the user rarely reaches the hundredth link, limiting himself to links on the first page, which only fixes the leading position of these links for subsequent users. And as it turns out, it is fake content that is most often displayed in the first positions. Therefore, you can not blindly trust the information received from the worldwide network. First of all, you need to learn how to control the reliability.
