The School of the Olympic Reserve No. 4 named after A.Ya. Gomelsky (GBPOU MSSUOR) was established in 2008 on the basis of basketball school No. 83 in order to organize continuous training. The educational institution raises talented basketball players, figure skaters, swimmers and pentathletes from childhood, through grades 7-11 and further on in the 1st - 4th courses of secondary vocational education. 650 people study at this educational institution, located in the Russian city of Moscow metro station Altufevo.

Admission to sports sections can take place all year round, but the main one starts at the end of August.
In all classes of the school department and in all courses of the vocational school, English is the main language. In 2021, out of six graduates, one passed the Unified State Exam for 220+ points. The students passed the exams in Russian and mathematics for grade 9 with an average score of 3.75 and 3.59, respectively.
