A Sample Answer :
Currently, communication options are quite diverse. While doing a school project on the theme of different ways of communication preferred by Zetland teenagers, I have found relevant statistics based on opinion polls. I will comment on the data in the following essay.
Analysing the pie chart, I can outline two distinctive facts of the results of the survey. First, most participants(36%) communicate by ringing on phones. Second, the least number, only 7% of the polled, prefer to send voice messages.
Closely examining the diagram, I can see interesting details of the research outcomes. For example, interactive ways of communication, such as chatting on the phone and talking in person are as three times as minimum more popular among the surveyed(36%, 27%, respectively) than emailing and sending voice messages (10% and 7%, respectively) . In my opinion, teenagers more appreciate the value of body language and facial expressions at meetings in person to compare with faceless messages.
Above and beyond various benefits of using technical devices for virtual communication, some problems may arise. I'm afraid that digital devices have in some sense replaced personal interaction. We begin to forget about the warmth of the handshake, replacing it with "Hi"-messages and robotic smileys. To fix this problem, I suggest that schools organise communication classes to help teenagers focus on the real world instead.
Regarding the importance of communicating in person, I believe that live communication is a prerequisite for building up a good rapport. It will help stand you in good stead for sound relationships with people, when it is impossible to reach virtually.
