To be labeled a ‘Work of Art’, a painting, sculpture or other art form should display certain qualities that are unique. However, over the past century there has been a decline in the quality of prize-winning artwork and it is now possible for quite ordinary pieces of art to be labeled ‘masterpieces ’ whilst true works of art pass unnoticed. In nowadays reality it is not a secret that at this moment artists are overrated and therefore many awards in that area are unfair, because of this statement many artists who have talents do not get any significant rewards for there hard-working, and society reject the prizes rates. I fully agree with this statement, because in this era many artists are overrated, moreover this decision affects not only on prizes quality, but also on art developing. In this day and time, it is not difficult to find and overrated art works which has been sold by a huge amount of money, and this trend takes the negative influence on art. Since these kind of offers make the artistic store unstable, furthermore this steps take impacts on artists rating in festivals. In the light of this facts there are numerous awards which have been given unfairly. The best illustration was in the start of 21 century when the artistic rewards were bought by investors. On the other hand this kind of approach affect on art developing too, since many professionals do not want to continue there careers because of this environment. Most part of them get disappointment from art and will not have any connection with it in future. The statistics from abord university illustrates that more than 50 percent of painters careers have been dropped down since 2000. Considering these evidence it is crystal clear that nowadays art sphere becomes business project which is fully depends on investors decision.
