I was really glad to see that your work on that campaign was recognized with an Y this past year.

Хвалить себя нужно, но только через конкретные примеры.

Отвечайте честно, это нормально. Однако говорите только про то, что относится к профессии.

I tend to be direct when faced with tight deadlines. I think that tight deadlines are a reflection of poor planning so I constantly strive to plan my work accordingly so in the end I don’t have to work under pressure.

Ни в коем случае не отвечайте, что вопросов нет. Спросите:
- What is your form of payment?
- How long is the contract valid for?
- What time does the working day start?
- What projects are you currently working on?

I have wanted for a long time to switch from HR Generalist into Learning and Development to be able to design effective training programs. Unfornutanely, at my current place we don’t even have this function. Your company will provide me with a great option to develop my skills.

Это хороший шанс углубиться в требования вакансии. Найдите в своей биографии топ 3 навыка и сделайте акцент на них.
I see that you are searching for a person who has X, Y, Z skills. And I happen to have all of them: example 1, 2, 3.

И помните, для изучения английского – поставьте цель. Нет цели – нет мотивации.
Говорите уверенно. Можно говорить неправильно, немного путать времена. Лучше, чтобы вы не молчали и рекрутер вас понимал. Акцент также не имеет значения. Если вас можно понять – у вас уже прекрасный английский для IT.
И помните. На “how do you do?” вы НЕ отвечаете “fine” :)
