Do you ever feel like there's not enough time in the day?

We all get the same 24 hours – so why do some people seem to achieve more with their time than others? The answer: good time management. So, what is it?

Time management is the technology of organizing time and increasing the efficiency of its use.

• Set goals correctly

Try to send your time on important goals. To chose them, you can use the SMART method. In essence, make sure that goals you set are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely.

• Deal with distractions

There are a lot of things that can distract you from your work. First, try to make a list of them and think how you can control each of distractions. For instance, you can put your phone away or set the do not disturb mode on it.

• Set a time limit to complete the task

Setting time constraints for completing tasks helps you be more focused and efficient. Making the small extra effort to decide on how much time you need to allot for each task can also help you recognize potential problems before they arise. That way you can make plans for dealing with them.

• Take a break between tasks

Breaks are really important. You won’t work efficiently, if you are tired. When doing a lot of tasks without a break, it is harder to stay focused and motivated. You can walk in a park, do some meditation or just lie on the bed- whatever that you like

• Organize yourself

Make a list of your plans, find your productive zone, download some time management apps (for instance, Forest), write down the deadlines, try different strategies. You will definitely find yourself, I believe in you!
