The Ket language is an isolated language the only living representative of the Yenisei family of languages. It is spoken by Chum Salmon in the Yenisei River area. Recently, there was also the Yuga language. However, it has disappeared and the Ket is on the verge of extinction. The language is vulnerable. The number of ethnic Kets for whom the Ket language is native has decreased from 1,225 people in 1926 to 213 people in 2010. According to field research, the number of native speakers of the Ket language now is 150. it's such a pity. In the XIX century the Ket were mistakenly considered a Finno-Ugric people. In 1934 a grammar ("The Ket language") and a primer ("A primer in the Ket language") were published by a Karger. The American linguist Edward Vajda is actively engaged in the Ket language who proposed his concept of a grammatical description of the Ket. The main function of its use remains the crafts of descendants. Although in colloquial speech even among native speakers it's se
