The price of the vaccine🤏🏻, which will be developed against the coronavirus outbreak that emerged in Vuhan, China and soon affected the whole world, has been determined. Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca also announced prices.
Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and France will pay 750 million euros (5 billion 775 million TL) for the 300 million doses of the potential coronavirus vaccine of the astraZeneca pharmaceutical company. The price for a vaccine will be 2.5 euros.
A spokesman for Italy's Health Ministry said in a statement on the matter.
A ministry spokesman also said the countries that made the agreement had options to receive an additional 100 million doses of the vaccine.
Italy's share of the agreement will be about 185m euros for 75 million doses.
AGREEMENT SIGNED
British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca plans to supply 400 doses of vaccines to Europe. The pharmaceutical company, which plans to supply france, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, signed an agreement on Saturday.
PRODUCTION STARTED
The AstraZeneca vaccine, known as Britain's largest pharmaceutical company, was also developed along with British scientists, while production began on 5 June.

Pascal Soriot, ceo of the company, which announced that the development process is underway despite not yet proving that the vaccine has been fully successful, told the BBC, "If we don't start producing doses right now, we can't respond to the future demand after it turns out that the vaccine is effective." In addition, the price of the vaccine has been determined. The price was 2.5 euros, while the Turkish Lira was 19 liras.
