Some drunk people
The airport wasn’t very crowded, so Angela and Alfred easily found the organiser of the corporate party - Judy. She was helpful, nice and quickly gave them the documents, the program of the upcoming party and introduced some of her colleagues. All of them had one corporate feature- a glass of whisky in their hands.
Alfred didn’t drink spirits, so they went upstairs to eat some pizza. From the top of the restaurant Angela could clearly see a bunch of drunk, noisy, excited but still happy people who were going to hang out in Turkey.
“Who is their chief?”, asked Angela.
And Alfred pointed to a short plump guy with a glass of whiskey in his hand and a red cap on top of his bald head. He was sitting and drinking like all the people around him. The only unusual thing was that he looked kind of lonely. Angela could not believe that he was the head of the company. The leader, who had gathered so many drunk people at the airport, could not be like him. That man was too funny and a bit too ordinary for that.
Was the first impression correct? Was he that simple?
Some time later Angela and Alfred found themselves on the plane. And who, do you think, was sitting next to them? If you said the CEO with a bottle of whiskey, you’d be correct! His name was Ludwig. He was talkative like all drunk people. He talked about his children, his hobbies, his wife and his children’s hobbies. Then he drank some more ‘magic water’ and began showing them some pictures on his phone. Alfred was bored but didn’t want to show that. Angela was confused, but didn’t know why.
The plane landed…
