Flightradar24 - the most popular service for flight tracking

Real-time monitoring of aircraft has been available for several years now to anyone with a gadget and the Internet at their fingertips, but what users will not see on their screens for sure and why?

Let's start with the fact that no military aircraft can be tracked, it's done because of security reasons so that no civilian can monitor what a military aircraft of any state does and where it flies. Nor will it be possible to monitor aircraft that belong to State structures, for example, it will be impossible to track flight number 1, which is also done to comply with safety regulations. All the above aircraft are equipped with other types of transmitters so that only those with special access can track them.

Private aircraft cannot be tracked either, but if they are suddenly equipped with ADS-B receivers and transponders, they can be seen in the application. It is up to their owners to install this equipment on their aircraft, but no one is in a hurry to do so, as too much information is revealed to users such as:

  • Flight number and flight number;
  • Departure and arrival airports;
  • Time of departure and arrival;
  • Distance between points and the distance the aircraft has already covered and how long it has to overcome;
  • The height of the aircraft and its type;
  • Registration data;
  • The speed at which the aircraft flies.

And if you purchase a paid subscription, you can find out even more data, such as the air temperature overboard, aircraft serial number and year of manufacture, as well as other meteorological data.

Flightradar24 is used not only by those who really need to track the board, in the network every day just curious people sit but it is really interesting to watch, the screen shows a map of the world and shows where and how many planes fly and land, what companies they belong and what airport is most active at the moment, in addition, you can find out the number of flight delays at a particular point of departure, it is indicated by colors.
