I want to present you a short overview of Ivideon's Face Detection feature
And first, the basic obvious and non-obvious scenarios of using facial recognition:
- shoplifting prevention
- personalized visitor counting
- access control system
- employee time monitoring
- marketing effectiveness analysis
- emotion research of employees and visitors
- integration with ERP and CRM systems
And now a little bit about how it works
This feature works with virtually any camera connected to the ivideon cloud video service:
- IP Cameras with ivideon firmware
Once you have added a camera to your account, you will be able to connect it to face recognition service
Just click the button to "try it for free"
Select the cameras
Choose a subscription that suits your needs (you can also try face recognition for free for 14 days)
After that, persons caught in the field of vision of the cameras will be detected and entered into the system. You can see the result in the People tab
By default, all unidentified persons fall into the "Unknown" folder
You can create a folder for your tasks:
- shoplifters
- white and black list
- staff
- visitors
- etc
After that you can place persons from the unknown folder into the created folders
In the same tab you can configure push notifications for person identification events
You can delegate the rights to receive notifications to other people, depending on the scenario of use. For example, you could delegate access to notifications to a security guard (to track shoplifters) or a manager (to control when employees come to and leave the workplace)
The lists contain person cards in alphabetical order. You can see that the name Alexander is very popular in Russia
On this page you can add a person manually or find a person by name or photo
You can add a description and additional photos to the person card
For example, you can enter some shopping history if the person is a regular customer of your store
Identification of persons allows you to manage your business more efficiently, including through statistical data, which can be obtained through reports available on the Reports tab.
The following types of reports are currently available:
- Unique visitors
- Demographics
- Emotions
- Working time
With the help of visitors report you can assess the quality of marketing companies: how effective was the advertising, whether it attracts the right target audience. Based on the obtained data, you can adjust the parameters of the advertising company and increase the rate of return on investment
