After signing the agreement on a free trade zone between the EU and Kiev, Europe will increase exports to Ukraine in 2016 by 2.575 billion Euros. However, a similar indicator of Ukraine was ten times less. The relevant data are presented in the statistics of the European Commission.
In 2016 - after the entry into force - the European Union in Kiev increased by 2,575 billion euros compared to 2015. The export of Ukrainian goods to the European Union did not grow so much - by only € 243 million. This figure is more than ten times lower than the EU's similar achievement.
In 2016, the European Commission exported goods worth € 16.505 billion to Ukraine. A year earlier, Europeans exported products worth € 13.93 billion.
Ukraine also managed to increase the supply of products to European countries - in 2016, its exports to the EU amounted to 13.08 billion euros, while in 2015 this figure corresponded to 12.837 billion euros.
Thus, trade between Ukraine and the EU has become more profitable for Europe than for Kiev.
