Eiliton Will Increase the Production Capacity of Vacuum Tubes

Eiliton, a resident of the Dubna Special Economic Zone, has signed an agreement with the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) for a soft loan of 50 million rubles to the company. The funds are intended to increase the production capacity of test tubes and launch the first Russian line to produce bilateral needles for blood taking.

THE COMMISSIONING OF ANOTHER TECHNOLOGICAL LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF VACUUM TUBES WILL ALLOW THE MOSCOW REGION ‘EILITON’ PLANT TO INCREASE ITS CAPACITY UP TO 170 MILLION TUBES PER YEAR,’ SAID NATALIA EGOROVA, THE MINISTER OF INVESTMENT, INDUSTRY, AND SCIENCE OF THE MOSCOW REGION. THUS, THE PLANT WILL BECOME THE LARGEST MANUFACTURER OF THIS MEDICAL PRODUCT IN RUSSIA.

The increase in the production of vacuum tubes by the domestic enterprise is more than timely. The country’s health care system is gradually returning to its normal mode of operation: scheduled medical care for patients in hospitals is back on track, polyclinics are being restored, a large-scale program for the screening of COVID-19 antibodies is being developed in Moscow as well as the country’s regions. All this requires a significant amount of blood collection equipment to perform laboratory tests.

The country’s first automatic, double-sided needle production line has already been installed in the Dubna Special Economic Zone and is ready to start work. By the end of June, the company near Moscow expects to receive a registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor for the needles and start mass production in July.
