Ну, то что на первом месте Металлика, было ожидаемо, но то, что разрыв с не менее великими Слейер будет почти в два раза - достаточно неожиданно. Мегадэт на третьем месте вполне нормально, успех Пантеры можно понять, помню их в Тушино, сет - огонь. Современный Тривиум мешает трэш с металкором, потому и так высоко забрался. Энтрекс, Сепультура, Мэшинхэд, Тестамент, Мешуга, Суйсидал Тендэншиз и т.д., были мало популярны, за исключением Sepultura, концерт в 92-м был тоже огонь. Немцев слушают намного меньше, чем ожидалось.
Стало интересно, много ли это - полтора миллиона для Чёрного Альбома Металлики, и 800 тысяч для Рэйнин Блада Слеера? Вот сравнение с несколькими случайными альбомами:

Продолжать можно бесконечно, но вроде примерная картина видна. Металлика не просто популярна, возвысившись на уровень мегазвёзд, не только рока, но и поп-музыки. Однако, низкие цифры у некоторых советских идолов, мягко говоря, странноваты.
