Almost every person, turning to a doctor for the first time, initially does not suggest that a doctor can make a mistake in medical prescriptions. Not just, forgetting to put a comma that changes the meaning of the sentence "you can’t execute pardon," but by making APPOINTMENTS leading to a dead end or worse - to remove the organ. Alas, reality shows that various mistakes made by doctors in treating the thyroid gland are very common.
1. Treatment of TSH.
Endocrinologists of all countries persistently treat a blood test indicator - TSH, trying to drive it back to normal. But, thus, they treat not the patient and his body, but the form of the laboratory. From this "TSH treatment", no patient has yet received thyroid repair.

It does not matter that American specialists write about the treatment of TSH and the whole world, including Russia, is copying them. It doesn’t matter that simple professors and academic professors write about the treatment of TSH. It doesn’t matter that almost all endocrinologists in the world are involved in the treatment of laboratory blanks. The American idea remains American.
2. Block and replace.
It’s also an American idea that the whole world is copying (not quite like that - some professors in the world blaspheme this venture, but there are few such specialists). Its meaning is that with hyperthyroidism (diffuse toxic goiter, Graves disease), the patient is prescribed a large dose of a thyrostatic drug that inhibits the formation of hormones in the thyroid gland, and at the same time, a hormonal drug.
I.o. two opposite effects of the drug. With the same success, it is possible to prescribe carminative and inhibitory intestinal motility (securing), sleeping pills and stimulating, raising and lowering blood pressure ...
This tactic is carrot and stick at the same time. As a result, a much larger dose of thyreostatics (Tyrosol, Propitsil) is needed to suppress the gland, and then prescribe an artificial hormonal drug.
At the same time, it is known that thyreostatic drugs have significant harm by side effects, affecting the growth properties of cells of all organs (especially bone marrow, where blood cells mature). But why do we need such a “tactic” (such a word is used by doctors to this stupid idea).
Do you think such tactics healed anyone? No, no one has yet had this strange idea restored the structure and activity of the thyroid gland.
