Chita is the capital of the Trans-Baikal Territory located 4737 km (in a straight line) from Moscow (on the map https://yandex.ru/maps/-/CKqVZPOz).
Like any other capital, Chita is the center of life of the region. People go to Chita from the Transbaikal heartland for work, medicine, education and entertainment. So I came to Chita in 2015 to receive higher education and I want to share with you my impressions over these 5 years.
Chita it self is a fairly typical city of Russia, but having a number of features. The city has many historical buildings that have remained since the Decembrists. Who were exiled to Siberia after the uprising.
The Asian location of the city also affects. Many local practice Buddhism.
Soviet times largely determined the appearance of the city. Many typical houses form the basis of the city, but besides them there are many monuments and statues.
Chita does not stand still and is constantly changing as a cosmetic
So thoroughly.
Do not forget about the younger generation.
Chita is very close to nature in the city with many trees (mainly pines and poplars)
Life in Chita is not much different from life in other cities in the world. People, like everywhere else, work, raise children, communicate. The food service is represented by both European and Asian cuisine (we even have a truth buffet and it is Chinese).
There are also entertainments in the city, there are many cinemas in the Concert Halls to which the Stars regularly come. A lot of sports clubs and sections that will help to actively spend leisure time.
