- The problem of safety of children in their childhood has been discussed for ages. Some people think that humans under 18 get into less troubles than adults. However, others are convinced that in the childhood people face more dangerous situations than ever.
- To my mind, being a child it is possible to feel safe more than while being an adult. I will explain why. Firstly, compared to adults children do not suffer from unemployment and poverty. Their parents buy them all the necessary staff and food. Besides, in case of having low income the families are entitled to various child benefits. All in all, children are always provided with things and services they need. Secondly, if youngsters have psychological or health problems they can always turn to relatives, teachers or other specialists for help and support. Grown- ups do not usually have such an opportunity.
- Nevertheless, there are people who believe that childhood is the most dangerous time in one’s life. Young person is likely to be naïve and inexperienced. That is why children risk to get bad habits, face violence, rude language, unreliable friends and online crimes.
- I strongly disagree with the above-mentioned point of view. It is explained to every child by his family and other educators how to behave in various situations. So, youngsters are careful and intelligent enough to avoid strangers and suspicious affaires.
- To conclude, I would like to say that childhood is the most wonderful and untroubled period that people have because a young person is under care and supervision of the state, parents and medical and educational establishments.
