For example we have several web sites with the utility companies, and we have to every month (is it in Russia, in other countries perhaps different terms) to transmit data from counters.
If we use computer for that why would not automate this process?
Autohotkey itself very powerful means, which we could use theoretically for that, but for web sites exist considerably better development - Selenium.
Selenium able to automate (or simulate user actions) work in web sites in such browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Opera e.t.c.
As well as with Selenium possible to work Python, Java or Autohotkey, as in our case.
In our case we have task transmit data to 4 different utility companies:
- Heating and hot water supplier
- Electrical power supplier company
- The gas
- Cold water and sanitation supplier
