30 minutes English lesson 3-5 years’ old 6th class together 1st open lesson Only English during class time What do we need? 1st STEP: Parachute Make a circle. Also practice opposites: big & small Count from 1 to 10 and catch the parachute Move parachute up & down (opposites) Shake it slow and fast (opposites) Count to 10 and make it fly up high 2nd STEP: Self Introduction 3rd STEP: Who is Under? Ask them: What can you do? Reply should be: I can jump (run, walk, swim, fly etc.) Make this movement around a circle Let them pretend to sleep in the end Cover one of them by parachute Get up and Ask others: “Who is under?” Reply should be: Marry (Nicole, Julia, Sonia, Miron, Vita) is under.   • Parachute
  • Name sticks
  • Five flashcards
  • Five cups
  • One “snowball”
  • Two fly swatters
  • Four hoops
  • Gifts

1st STEP: Parachute

Make a circle. Also practice opposites: big & small

Count from 1 to 10 and catch the parachute

Move parachute up & down (opposites)

Shake it slow and fast (opposites)

Count to 10 and make it fly up high

2nd STEP: Self Introduction

Use name sticks to introduce ourselves briefly

3rd STEP: Who is Under?

Ask them: What can you do?

Reply should be: I can jump (run, walk, swim, fly etc.)

1.Put flashcards on a floor and review them

2. Cover them by parachute

3. Open it, but take one card with a parachute. Ask kids: What’s missing?

4. Put it back after correct answer. Play few times, don’t forget to review in the beginning.

Where is snowball?

1.Put five cards & cups on a floor with “snowball” (sheet of paper)

2. Place snowball inside of random cup and shuffle them all

3. Stop mixing and ask kids: where is snowball?

4.Ask kids to lift cup up if they pronounced theme related word.

6th STEP: Sticky Fingers

Sit on a chair

Ask kids hold your fingers and remind them rules

Sound out related words

They have to repeat after

If it’s not, kids have to runaway

7th STEP: Relay Race

Take 4 hoops

Review vocabulary, give them hoops as a reward.

In the middle of race kids have to recognize theme related word, hit card and come back.

8th STEP: Review and Gift giving

Kids have to sound out theme related word to get gift as reward.

Young English learners (3-5) are really easy to get bored, they are not going to repeat after you whenever you want.
That’s why always have to stimulate them.
Because of their age, most of steps length is around 3 minutes.
You can use different topics, just change vocabulary.
