Some people think that they need to learn english language and only then they will be using it. But the problem is that they are not going to learn the language without using it in their daily lives.
You don't need to know all english words. You don't need to be a native speaker. If you can understand what's written here then you are good enough to start using your english.
When I was in the process of active english learning I had a lot of opportunities to talk about TV shows. I tried to describe some episodes with as much details as I could remember.

So I am going to start first. To be honest I watch a lot of TV shows and movies. One of my favourite is Doctor Who. If you have never watched it I recommend you to try. This is a British TV show about an alien who travels through time and space. He changes faces. It helps this show keep going by changing the lead actor.
I like all actors who have played the Doctor. I don't like the two last seasons though (11 and 12 seasons are too different in my opinion).
It's not a perfect show. You are not going to like every episode of it because almost every episode is a new story. But it is worth watching.
For me, this is the show of my childhood. And it was one of the first reasons to start learning English.
