A Dream
A little sweet kitty
Made friends with a mouse.
They meet for a walk
At the roof of a house.
They share an umbrella
And boots as they're meeting:
One boot for the mouse,
And one for the kitty.
They walk, and they talk,
And whatever the weather,
The rain tries to quit
Just to keep them together.
The roof of that house
They love like no other.
A cat and a mouse
Are fond of each other.
Is there any truth here?
A little, no doubt!
It's something our mouse
Is dreaming about.

Две милые крошки,
Гуляли по крыше,
Ладошка в ладошке.
И зонтик один
На двоих и галошки.
Правая – мышке,
Левая – кошке.
И дождик раздумал
По крыше стучать,
Чтобы подружек
Не разлучать.
Теплая крыша,
Пара галошек,
Старенький зонтик
В белый горошек.
