RusCoin: Q&A
Investment Disclaimer
Investment in financial assets is fraught with the following risks: Risks of transacting in certain jurisdictions, risks relating with economic conditions, competitive situation, fast-pace technology- and market changes, as well as any other factors that may result in significant deviations from forecasted indicators. The said factors may result in a situation where actual performance of a specific investor varies from the assumptions and assertions set out in this article.

RusCoin is a new cryptocurrency created on Waves and Ethereum blockchains which is backed by tangible assets – shares in companies related with the Russian Federation.

3. What is the par value of 1 RusCoin?
The offer price is US$50/RusCoin
4. How can I find RSC token on Waves blockchain?

6. What is the idea behind RusCoin project?
The idea behind the new cryptocurrency RusCoin is attraction of funds to the Russian economy bypassing the economic sanctions imposed by certain Western countries, including funding of startups and, at the first stage, buy up of 25% + 1 share, i.e. the blocking stake in PJSC Moscow Exchange (stock ticker: MOEX) in order to list crypto assets and cryptocurrencies on this exchange.
Unlike Bitcoin, RusCoin is backed by tangible assets – shares in Moscow Exchange, startups, real estate, etc.
7. Can I invest in the idea of buy up of Moscow Exchange shares without using RusCoin tokens?
Investors can independently buy Moscow Exchange shares or they can do that via their brokers, in their personal brokerage account, alternatively they can use our robotrader – Nutcracker – upon issuance of the authority to buy/sell financial instruments using the investor’s personal brokerage account.
8. Why buy RusCoin tokens if an investor can independently buy Moscow Exchange shares?
In order to buy up 25% + 1 share of Moscow Exchange a Russian investor must have funds in the amount of US$ 1 billion and higher, therefore RusCoin project merges all interested shareholders smaller amounts of capital in a pool via sales of RusCoin tokens and by way of utilizing Nutcracker robotrader in brokerage accounts of the investors.
International retail investors, normally, have no access to the Russian securities market due to the economic sanctions against Russia, high barrier to entry and unavailability of banking/brokerage services.
RusCoin project aims to gather all the interested Russian and international investors in a pool via sales of RusCoin tokens and accumulation of the funds raised to buy up 25%+1 share of Moscow Exchange.
9. Why does RusCoin project not work with United States citizens?
On March 25, 2014 the Internal Revenue Service of the United States issued a memo on taxation of transactions using Bitcoin and other virtual currencies, according to which every buyer of crypto tokens must conduct their separate tax accounting, which is currently costly for RusCoin project in terms of time, money and competencies. However, US citizens are able to buy shares of Moscow Exchange via their broker and our robotrader Nutcracker.
10. How can I buy RusCoin tokens?
First you should download your free wallet https://waves.exchange on your smartphone or computer. It has built-in cryptoexchange functionality.
Then find RusCoin token by name, RSC ticker or the token code: EMdiF8uaySswfCdMxc114rSfzUsAKCtK9d8eSx6ruKP4
And then buy RusCoin with USD, USDT, EUR, WAVES, BTC, ETH, and other cryptocurrencies.
11. Why does the exchange rate of RusCoin fluctuate so often, sometimes at the rate of tens of percent per day?
RusCoin cryptocurrency, just as any other cryptocurrency, is subjected to high price volatility, as many RSC holders who received them free of charge (for advertizing activity, posting in social media, development of the website, videos, etc.) sell their RusCoin tokens. At the same time, ‘smart’ investors buy up the tokens at low valuation.
RusCoin project sells RSC tokens at $50/RusCoin in all the pairs (USD, USDT, EUR, WAVES, BTC, ETH, etc.) in the equivalent.
12. In case of a buy up of shares of Moscow Exchange the share price may swiftly go up and in that case will the funds raised (US$1.05 billion) be sufficient to buy up 25% + 1 share of Moscow Exchange?
Obviously, in case of a lump sum investment of USD 1 billion to buy up MOEX shares its share price will go up and sellers will ‘run off’ and they will hesitate to sell their shares in anticipation of yet higher price!
The thing is that RusCoin project buys Moscow Exchange shares gradually, on a daily basis, in small lots, also Nutcracker robotrader acts as a market maker for Moscow Exchange shares, i.e. at the beginning and the end of a time frame the number of shares remains the same, however, due to buy/sell transactions within the same day, week, month, quarter, year, etc. RusCoin generates its trading profit.
13. What are the sources of income for RusCoin project?
The project is currently funded by the founders and shareholders of RusCoin project.
According to the project’s White Paper 2% p.a. of the funds raised are used to cover management expenses (Management Fee),
20% of income from trading transactions (Success Fee) are distributed to the project founders on a quarterly basis, 80% of income from trading activity is owned by the shareholders of RusCoin, however, these funds are used to redeem RusCoin tokens.
14. Is there a deadline for raising funds for the project?
There is no deadline; RusCoin consistently buys up shares of Moscow Exchange with the aim of managing 25% + 1 share of Moscow Exchange.
15. How many RSC tokens have been sold/distributed to date?
According to our White Paper the project team has 26% of the total number of RusCoin tokens and 74% will be available to regular buyers.
As of 08.01.2020 around 3 million RSC tokens have been distributed with the obligation to sell the tokens at $75 and higher, while part of the 3 million RSC tokens are held by escrow agents.
16. How many Moscow Exchange shares have been bought up to date?
As of 08.01.2020 about 1% of Moscow Exchange shares have been bought up, 97% of which are held on brokerage accounts of our clients and 3% of Moscow Exchange shares have been acquired using the funds from sales of RusCoin tokens.
17. Can you show balances of Moscow Exchange shares on your client accounts?
No, this violates current legislation and our arrangements with our clients.
18. Can a current shareholder of Moscow Exchange swap their shares for RusCoin tokens?
Currently cryptocurrencies and tokens do not have a clear-cut legal status anywhere in the world, including Russia. Yet RusCoin project is willing to consider swapping RusCoin tokens for the right to vote with Moscow Exchange shares hold by the current shareholders.
19. Can a current shareholder of Moscow Exchange gain additional income by using Nutcracker robotrader within its brokerage account?
Yes, it can be done. The baseline conditions are as follows:
Barrier to entry: RUB 10 million (USD 160,000)
Management Fee: 2% p.a.
Success Fee: 20% per month
Maximum allowed risk: 20%
Please email 1@ruscoin.io to get your personal proposal.
20. Does RusCoin project pay dividends?
There are no dividends, yet there is remuneration for holding RusCoin tokens in the investor’s crypto wallet.
Such remuneration is paid to an investor’s crypto wallet on waves.exchange in RSC tokens depending on the holding period and the number of RSC tokens held by that investor in their wallet.
21. Can I pay for coffee and/or any other goods or services with RusCoin?
Currently you cannot, however, once proper legislation is in place this will be possible. At the same time, buyers and sellers are able to transfer their RSC tokens from their wallets and they can pay their transfer fees in RSC tokens or other cryptocurrencies.
22. Why does RusCoin project require buying up shares of Moscow Exchange?
All cryptocurrency in the world are in the ‘gray’ zone, i.e. they may be closed, go out of business or they may be hacked, and local authorities may ban activities of cryptoexchanges in their respective jurisdiction, etc.
The purpose of RusCoin project is to enable investors to buy/sell crypto assets on the legitimate Moscow Exchange.
A blocking stake of 25%+1 share of Moscow Exchange will help accelerate passing of the corresponding legislation in the Russian Federation.
RusCoin helps tackle the following issues:
1) Attracting funds to Russia bypassing economic sanctions;
2) Improve financial awareness of retail investors worldwide;
3) Access to financial innovations to people with low income from around the world;
4) Possibility to gain income from investment;
5) Employ people worldwide for promotion of RusCoin project via social media and personal networking.
22. Are there guaranteed profit margins in RusCoin project?
No, we are not allowed to provide guarantees of a profit margin, moreover, all crypto projects are highly risky and RusCoin is no exception.
23. How much can I earn by buying RusCoin tokens?
As of 08.01.2020 the price per 1 RusCoin token was ~$0.5, and you can buy around 1,000 tokens for $500, if you invest approximately $4,000, after which the price of RusCoin will be $50since there are very few RSC tokens available for sale at such low prices.
24. How can I buy RusCoin with Rubles?
First you should swap your Rubles for BTC, ETH, USDT, and WAVES using legitimate crypto exchanges and then you should transfer your cryptocurrency to your wallet on Waves to buy your RusCoin tokens.
25. What are the risks of RusCoin project?
Investment in financial assets is fraught with the following risks: Risks of transacting in certain jurisdictions, risks relating with economic conditions, competitive situation, fast-pace technology- and market changes, as well as any other factors that may result in significant deviations from forecasted indicators. The said factors may result in a situation where actual performance of a specific investor varies from the assumptions and assertions set out in this article.
26. Have any famous athletes, movie stars, etc. bought RusCoin tokens?
A number of world-renowned persons are currently shareholders of RusCoin and our discretionary management clients who use Nutcracker robotrader; however, we are not authorized to disclose their names without the clients’ approval.
27. Citizens of which countries have already bought RusCoin?
Our clients include citizens and residents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Belarus, Israel, Canada, Ukraine, Switzerland, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, South Korea, Mongolia, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Cyprus, Turkey, UAE, and a number of other countries.
28. How can I become a RusCoin Ambassador?
You should send your resume to 1@ruscoin.io with your business plan for development of the project.
29. Why is RusCoin better than Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is manipulated as 3% of its owners hold 87% ‘mined’ Bitcoin, and on an annual basis the amount of electricity used to validate transactions accounts for annual consumption of electricity of countries like Ireland and Belarus.
According to RusCoin White Paper, 26% belongs to the project team and 74% - to the project shareholders, i.e. the market determines the price of RusCoin tokens. RusCoin does not use mining because we want to protect the environment!
30. Who is behind RusCoin project?
RusCoin founders and shareholders are persons aged 40+ with extensive experience in private and public sector both in Russia and internationally.
