Nacht Wacht
The cafe offers Dutch cuisine only (rather fat and heavy), and Dutch beer to follow with (RUB 180 and up). The main menu is rather small but intriguing: there are croquettes (several types, RUB 90 each), stamppot with mashed vegetables (RUB 440), soused herring (RUB 210), and sausages (RUB 440). The bar list, in addition to beer, includes wine (RUB 290) and jenever-based drinks (Dutch gin).
Christmas Pop-Up Restaurant by Schastye
The Schastye group of restaurants launches a pop-up restaurant in the courtyard of the Passage. It is to be opened on December 22. The interior was decorated with natural materials: marble, brass and wood (for example, in the hall, there will be an oak table dated 1893 which was bought at a flea market in Paris). Guests will be served breakfast and brunch, as well as seasonal dishes (for example, risotto with mushrooms for RUB 470), appetizers with wine, sandwiches and desserts, of course.
Ogurtsy
Ogurtsy on the Fontanka embankment is an inclusive cafe where people with mental disabilities work as cooks (of course, their work is supervised by professional cooks and baristas). The project is developed by Prostye Veschi workshops: they crowdfunded it, and the Ogurtsy identity was developed by special artists from the graphic studio.
Brewmen Taproom
Brewmen is a craft brewery from Veliky Novgorod. In February, its owners opened a bar with foods provided by Roman Redman (Meatarea Chuck) on Raziezzhaya street. This bar has already closed, but it was replaced by Brewmen Taproom, launched without Redman. Two dozen beer taps with Brewmen beer were installed in the bar. There is also a range of bottled bears which is regularly changed. There are some snacks, too, but they play second fiddle; you can order, for example, arancini for RUB 340 or one of seven burgers (RUB 360 and up).
